A ginormous thank you to our remarkable Committee Members!

ShaLeigh Dance Works is extremely grateful to our absolutely treasured Inaugural Gala Committee members for their endless generosity and support! This event could not have happened without them and their participation! A note from the Artistic Director

On November 3rd, 2017 we held our inaugural fundraising Gala, Revolutionaries in the Dark at our beloved Reality Ministries in Durham, NC. We were honored by so many coming together to support us and our mission to bring socially conscious work and outreach programs to our community. Our work is dedicated to inclusivity, multiculturalism and diversity. We do this work because we believe art does not just reflect the cultural conditions of our time, but creates the potential to change those conditions. We know that artists and creative communities have always been a part of the solution. 25 local businesses, 16 individual donors, 13 volunteer committee members, 12 performance artists & groups, and nearly 100 attendees joined forces for this special cause. One behalf of myself and everyone at ShaLeigh Dance Works, we thank each and everyone of you for your unwavering support of our organization and cause!

With great appreciation and admiration for all you do,
ShaLeigh Comerford

Huge thanks to @RadicalPresence for these gorgeous clips!
