Research, Education & Knowledge Sharing

enVISION is designed not only to create performances, but to generate knowledge.

The methodologies developed through enVISION continue to inform workshops, university teaching, artist training programs, public dialogue, and cross-sector partnerships.

As the initiative evolves, SDW is exploring educational models that translate disability-led creative practice into broader frameworks for leadership, collaboration, communication, democratic participation, and learning across difference.

Through workshops, panels, residencies, artist trainings, and future curriculum development, enVISION seeks to contribute practical tools and approaches that can be adapted across artistic, educational, and civic contexts.

Current areas of inquiry include:

  • Access as aesthetic practice
  • Movement Mentorship as a workforce development strategy
  • Shared leadership and democratic creation processes
  • Community-authored performance methodologies
  • Multi-sensory audience engagement
  • Disability-informed artistic leadership
  • The enVISION Toolbox as a creative framework

By documenting, testing, and sharing these practices, SDW seeks to support artists, educators, presenters, and cultural institutions interested in more collaborative and sustainable approaches to artistic creation.
